Our curriculum provides the knowledge, values, and skills required for effective and ethical social work practice in a variety of settings.

  • Key Courses: You will master essential topics like Fundamentals of Interviewing, Human Diversity, Human Behavior in the Social Environment, Social Welfare Policy and Research, and Rural Social Work Practice.
  • Skills You Will Gain: Learn to conduct Bio-Psychosocial Assessments and apply clinical theories with individuals, families, groups, organizations, and communities, develop intervention plans, advocate for social justice, navigate the social welfare system, and apply ethical principles to complex situations.
  • Experiential Learning: The cornerstone of our program is the 400-hour supervised field education placement, where you will work directly with clients in various types of human service agencies, translating your classroom knowledge into professional practice.
